((By the way, my kid is awesome! She’s 11, so it’s a different relationship at the moment. I didn’t mean to make it sound like she behaves poorly - far from it! We are just a bit distant at the moment because she’s very independent and that shouldn’t and doesn’t take away from my inner joy. I’m very proud of her.
